Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to consultations, itinerary planning, and related travel services offered by Tales in Transit.
1. Consultations
More Than 72 Hours Before Appointment
Clients may cancel or reschedule without penalty.
Within 72 Hours
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the consultation cost.
No-Shows
Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without notice is non-refundable.
2. Custom Itinerary Projects
Once itinerary research or supplier coordination has begun, deposits become non-refundable.
Cancellation fees may apply based on:

Work completed;

Administrative costs;

Supplier penalties.
3. Third-Party Bookings
Flights, hotels, cruises, tours, transfers, and experiences remain subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier.
Supplier penalties may include:

Partial refunds;

Travel credits;
-
Complete forfeiture.
Tales in Transit is not responsible for supplier-imposed penalties.
4. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

Natural disasters;

Pandemics;
-
Government restrictions;
-
Civil unrest;
-
Severe weather;
-
Airline operational disruptions.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering:

Trip cancellation;

Medical emergencies;

Delays;
-
Lost baggage;
-
Supplier insolvency.
